Truna 2025 inspires 20,000 visitors in Traunstein – a complete success!
The Truna in Traunstein has once again proven to be a big crowd puller from September 29th to October 3rd, 2023. With around 20,000 visitors, the trade show, the largest of its kind in the region, attracts people from near and far. The crowd corresponds to the number from two years ago, which organizer Jürgen Pieperhoff is very pleased with: “The response was consistently positive,” he reports. This is particularly true for Sunday, which more than made up for Saturday's somewhat disappointing figures.
This event took place again for the first time after the Corona break and attracted many exhibitors to the agriculture tent. The Bavarian Farmers' Association, which planned the tent, brought together numerous local actors. Exhibitors such as the Office for Food, Agriculture and Forestry Traunstein and Maschinenring Traunstein presented their offers and informed visitors about current topics in agriculture. Popular attractions such as the UBB Wheel of Fortune and the enjoyment of Lindlhof ice cream contributed to the positive mood.
Diverse program and exhibitors
Truna offered something for everyone – from machine and equipment shows to culinary highlights. The machine exhibition featured, among other things, a mobile slaughter box from Schlachtvieh EG Traunstein, which attracted great interest. Visitors were also able to taste fresh plum baveses and apple pie from the Traunstein country women, who also organized a quiz with questions about various stands.
An exciting highlight was the drawing of the winners of the competition by the Bavarian vice-queen bee Laura Mache on the last day of the event. The prizes included, among other things, a pedal bulldog from Josef Zenz Landmaschinentechnik and goat hikes from the Frisch family. If you think about all the exciting experiences, it is no wonder that many exhibitors have expressed their interest in being part of this event again in the coming years.
A look into the future
The next Truna is already planned for 2027 and will certainly attract numerous visitors to Traunstein again. The Traunstein Business Association, represented by chairman Thomas Eberl, confirms the continuation of the event and is optimistic that Truna will remain an integral part of the regional calendar in the future.
The conclusion is more than positive and the anticipation for the next editions is growing. Once again it has been shown that local events like this offer a great experience not only for the exhibitors, but also for the visitors. If you want to experience the family atmosphere and the variety of products and services up close, you shouldn't miss Truna.
