Everything for the Guest” trade fair in Salzburg: Digitalization in focus!

The 55th edition of the “Everything for the Guest” trade fair opened its doors at the Salzburg Exhibition Center on November 8, 2025. Over 700 exhibitors came to Salzburg to present their latest products and services. Around 35,000 visitors are expected in the next few days, who will be able to experience the diversity of the catering and hotel suppliers up close. This traditional event, which first took place in 1970, has established itself as an important platform for the industry over the years.

Digital future and sustainability in focus

This year, the topics of digitalization and sustainability are at the forefront of trade fair activities. The organizers have put together a diverse program that includes more than 100 talks, workshops and master classes. Guests can look forward to exciting discussions that highlight current trends and innovative solutions in the catering industry. The trend towards digitalization is gaining momentum in the industry, with technologies such as artificial intelligence and robotics increasingly finding their way into the catering industry. According to current statistics, 28% of services already use AI, and 50% of catering businesses see this technology as highly important.

Diverse exhibitors and offers

The list of exhibitors is as impressive as it is diverse. Companies like ADA Cosmetics International GmbH, who have been developing cosmetics and dispensing systems for the hotel industry for over 45 years, are also represented AG FOODS Group a.s., an internationally renowned partner for soluble drinks and technical solutions in the beverage sector. More than 45% of consumers value sustainability in their diet and over 50% of catering establishments are confronted with this challenge. The trend towards less food waste, supported by apps like Too Good To Go, shows that the industry is ready to take responsibility. Almost 121.7 million meals were saved through this platform last year alone.
