Amadeus Horse Indoors 2025: New concept without a big show!
There is a touch of anticipation in the air because the popular Amadeus Horse Indoors 2025 is just around the corner! From December 4th to 7th, equestrian sports enthusiasts can expect a diverse international event at the Salzburg Exhibition Center. This year, however, the event will have to do without the big show eqwo.net reported. The press conference on October 28th in the impressive Salzburg Festival Hall gave the event the necessary news and a new face.
The motto “The Festival of Horses” reflects the high-quality content that is intended for the approximately 2.6 million euro budget. Managing Director Christian Steiner and President Wenzel Schmidt explained that the focus this year is where quality plays the decisive role. There is less focus on show and more on sport and dressage in order to make the event cost-effective. A total of 500 horses are expected, a decrease from over 600 participants in 2023.
Sporting highlights and new attractions
Instead of large family shows, there will be smaller, regional show acts. In return, visitors can look forward to a varied supporting program, including food trucks, “late night shopping” with a DJ and party nights. The closing party will properly celebrate the event. The sporting competitions include CDI5* and CSI4*, and youth competitions round off the offering.
The official lists of participants for the various competitions are not yet available, but well-known riders such as Jessica von Bredow-Werndl from Germany, who will give a dressage master class, and the Austrian talents Felicita Simoncic, Paul Jöbstl and Antonia Weixelbraun have already announced their attendance. Katharina Rhomberg will also lead a spring master class.
Organizers with long-term goals
The organizer's long-term goal is to return the FEI Dressage World Cup to Salzburg. Apparently the FEI showed little interest in replacing the stage this year, but hope for future collaborations remains. The Amadeus Horse Indoors is without a doubt one of the largest equestrian events in Austria and enjoys great popularity.
With over 130 exhibitors and an exhibition area of around 10,000 m², the event also offers an excellent opportunity for pre-Christmas shopping. If you want to make sure you get the best bargains, you shouldn't miss this date and look forward to an exciting event full of equestrian sports and fun. For more information and details related to the organization, those interested can visit the official website of the event: amadeushorseindoors.at.
An additional offering for anyone involved in equestrian sports could be a first-class truck designed to transport three horses and two carriages. Some details, such as being equipped with a reversing camera or the possibility of upgrading to a total of six horses, are below hippoevent.at to find. Maybe the perfect companion for the next big appearance in the show ring.
