Future for Parsch: Middle School becomes a modern all -day school!

The parsch middle school is being converted into an all -day school and the construction work is already in full swing. A new wooden building is being built in Schlossstrasse in Parsch, which will be clearly visible from the street. A wooden facade and a post-bar construction for the connection to the main building are currently being installed. In addition to the external work, the excavation and the soil exchange for a new sports field and various work in the courtyard, such as the laying of sewer and electricity supply lines, also run. Project manager Martina Drescher from the MA 06/01 - Building construction confirms that the schedule is observed and the construction work is scheduled for schedule.

A total of around 7 million euros gross is planned for the new building. The funds are used not only for the construction of premises, but also for the equipment. The new two -storey building will include a multifunctional room, a dining room for up to 250 children with a preparation kitchen and adjoining rooms. The new building will be connected directly to the existing school building via a connection.

Need for all -day care

Vice Mayor Kay-Michael Dankl emphasizes the need for the additional space, since the number of children has increased in recent years. All -day care is an important topic, especially today, as it makes it easier for parents to agree work and family. All-day care is currently carried out at the school in the existing rooms as well as in the converted school keeper house, which has been available since 2012 and has a dining and lounge on around 65 square meters.

The renovation and expansion of the parsch middle school is also supported as part of the nationwide program for the expansion of all-day places in schools.
