Yesterday was a very special date in youth football, because the Fifth Porsche Football Cup took place in the Robert Schlienz Stadium in Stuttgart. Over 1,500 spectators had come to track the exciting final between the Red Bull Football Akademie Salzburg and VfB Stuttgart. In the end, the academy prevailed with a narrow 1-0 and thus secured its second title in a row.
The decisive goal scored Konstantin Hofmeier shortly before the end of the first half, which increased the euphoria among the fans and players from the Academy from Salzburg. "Turbo für Talente" was the motto of the tournament, which is one of the top -class youth competitions in Europe. A frame full of highlights
The tournament program offered a lot of variety: an exhibition of Porsche sports car, exciting hands-on activities for the small fans and a performance of the VfB mascot Fritzle rounded off the event.
